Which app is right for my German exam?

Start with your level and exam provider: A1 for Goethe and telc, A2 for Goethe, B1 and B2 for telc. There’s a separate app for the German citizenship test. If unsure, check with your course or exam centre.

Are the apps available for iPhone and Android?

Yes. All five apps shown here are listed in the Apple App Store and Google Play. Each app page has direct links for both platforms.

Are the apps free?

The apps offer free introductory features. Ads, in-app purchases or subscriptions may apply. Check the relevant store for current pricing and the exact features available.

Are these official Goethe, telc or BAMF apps?

No. Our apps are independent study tools by Quiet Compute Labs. They are not affiliated with, published by or endorsed by Goethe-Institut, telc or BAMF.

Will the apps give me a language certificate?

The apps help you practise and prepare. An accredited certificate requires an exam at an examination centre. Using an app does not guarantee a particular exam result.
